Mr. Miller focuses in the areas of employment and labor litigation, regulatory and litigation issues facing the alcohol beverage industry, business litigation and transactions, and real estate transactions.  Mr. Miller vigorously approaches each issue, legal or business, in order to best address the needs of his clients: corporations, sole proprietors, employees/employers, and others with related legal and business matters.

Mr. Miller’s employment and labor practice covers the counseling of employers and employees in relation to Federal and state litigation with an emphasis on the litigation and defense of claims for breach of contract, defamation, fraud, retaliation, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, wage and hour violations, and race, age, gender and disability discrimination.  

Mr. Miller’s alcohol distribution and regulatory compliance practice covers licensing, labeling, advertising, trade practices, and distribution.  

Mr. Miller has effectively represented clients in transactions and cases involving alcohol distribution rights, breach of contract claims, employment disputes, Texas Workforce Commission claims, environmental compliance and due diligence, at-will employment, confidentiality agreements, covenants-not-to-compete, non-disclosure agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and trade secrets.

The courts that represent Mr. Miller’s litigation practice include:  Dallas County District Courts and County Courts at Law; Tarrant County District Courts and County Courts at Law; Travis County District Courts and Travis County Probate Courts; any District Court and County Court at Law located within reasonable distance to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex; and United States District Courts for the Northern District.
